Today’s travel was beautiful. No navigation or boat issues and the weather gods gave us sun and very little wind….so today she favored the power boats 😉 A good day for a 7 hour journey – a little longer than we like.
We arrived at Palm Coast Marina just after 4pm and were directed to dock right ahead of another PDQ34 named Ripple. The owners are Don and Robbin who are very experienced cruisers and very fun to hangout with.
Don and Robbin have owned their PDQ for 10 years and were competitive sailors and cruisers for 30 years before that!!! They have forgotten more than we will ever know about cruising!
We Ubered to Walmart for provisions then walked to the European Village Square (which is a triangle) which had lots of restaurants and pubs. We chose a nice Italian restaurant.
This is the first marina we were contacted by a super nice AGLCA Harbor Host – Brenda. She provided information and COOKIES!!! Brenda for the win!
Note: We just noticed that some of the videos need to be full screen to get the whole picture. So click the control on the lower right side of the screen that looks like a box and lies between the speaker icon and the three vertical dots.
